Meditation Empowers Your Wellbeing
In today’s world of high technology and fast paced living, we have forgotten to take time and care for ourselves. Being quiet within only takes a few moments a day resulting in better productivity, quality relationships, reduced stress, improved focus, lowered blood pressure and better sleep. There are many form of meditation: open or closed eyed, focusing on the breath, moving meditations such as tai chi, qigong or yoga.
Did you know daydreaming moves the mind to a calm state of being with all the above benefits. When you daydream, that is your psyche telling you to shift your focus to rest.

Mary D Glesige
I have more than forty years of experience in meditation, gentle movement, and
natural wellness. I provide readers with a simple guide to feeling better,
finding calm, and handling tough health problems.
My awareness journey started at twelve years old after my grandfather passed away.
I became curious about the human soul and what lies beyond our physical bodies. By age
eighteen, I found meditation. Over the years, I learned and taught yoga, bodywork, energy
healing, and natural health traditions. These skills became vital survival tools when I
became very ill. I was faced with severe swelling and joint pain that left me barely able to
walk. The medical tests did not support an arthritis diagnosis. It was undetermined.
I quickly learned I had to become my own advocate.
Besides the book, I often lead simple workshops and talks for book clubs and community
groups. Learning to take care of yourself and loving yourself isn’t ego.
It is one of the best ways to improve your health and become your authentic self.
“When life gets hard, taking time to sit quietly, breathe deeply, and practice gratitude
creates the space you need to heal your mind, body, and spirit. True healing is not something
done to you from the outside. It is something you take part in yourself, breath by breath.”
